Yaran e watan – Pakistan Diaspora Health initiative, is a not-for-profit organization that aims to facilitate the country's health sector by creating mechanisms for overseas Pakistani health care professionals to contribute towards health sector development and social welfare in Pakistan.

The initiative is a public-private partnership brought forth by the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination (MNHSRC) and the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (MOPHRD) with support from the Pakistani diaspora health organizations.

We provide a platform to connect with overseas health professionals, by matching the needs of Pakistan with the interest of the Pakistani diaspora communities around the globe. With this voluntary engagement, we intend to utilize the full potential of this heterogeneous diaspora community - medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, health economists, public health professionals and other professionals, in assisting the development of Pakistan’s health sector.

We believe that by providing appropriate support and reducing barriers for the Pakistani healthcare diaspora, a diverse range of contributions can be facilitated for the health and welfare of the people of Pakistan.
